Does anyone still make the old timey flared/belled ram-type air cleaners

    I don't have a picture handy, but does anyone know if someone is still making the old timey flared/bell aircleaners for Stromberg/Holley carbs?

    The ones like Tattersfield use to sell with their 4X2 intakes.

    I'm not sure what you're looking for, but check out the Wolk Design website. He makes air cleaners that look like the old Stelling & Hellings type, and the quality is first-rate.

    Thanks guys. Yes, like the one on the bottom, but for 2 5/8" opening. Sometimes they have a mesh screen in the middle as well.

Since they fit within the I.D. of the carb throat, you can use them with popular slip over accessories such velocity tubes. These also fit the Chevy one barrel Rochester with a little massaging.

    Made in USA this "Bug Dome" is very sturdy the flange and the mesh does not bend even when heavy pressure is applied.

    The flange is 2 1/8" it widens out to about 2 1/4 at the lip were it sits in the carb's throat. Height comes in at 1 7/8 from bottom of flange to top of "bug" screen.
