  2. So I did a quick google search to confirm my theory (tire pressure too low) and that along with lowering launch rpm seem to be common fixes. Your's didn't look all that bad to me in the pics (mostly just a little on the right rear that I can see, so I would probably try adding .5 to .75 pounds of air to each slick and see what happens.

  3. That's interesting to me. I was running 10PSI for ever and started running 9.5 lately. I see the Pale Rider and Quain's don't seem to wad as much.

What are your thoughts on dropping the right wheelie bar a little more than the left one?

If Trump loses - it may be TET all over again ......

  4. Sorry, you'll need to talk to someone more knowledgeable on door cars than me for a solid answer on that one. I made it to the 11.80's in my door slammer then defected to the dragster world. The only wheelie bars I've dealt with only had one wheel. In theory it seems like it might help since the cars seems to be hooking to the left, does it go left pretty regularly?

Tet 68 & dragging a pig 60 around ( actually preferred haven the 60 for my protection - I was big & strong then ) - Lets do cars & drag racing while I still can. Love Texas, but hope will not need in 2017.....

    Willy that an M60?

  8. Now that looks like fun. Where is @tylercrawford he will dig that.

Yep almost always left. I moved the right wheelie wheel 1" lower for this weekend. See what that does.

Everything is fine, there is nothing to see here ;)

  10. He did get it running and we put some laps on it - until

It slung a tire off. He couldn't stop grinning. Good learning. He did 90% of this thing I was working on my car to get ready for races. He's an infected gear head now - doomed.......

Exit, stage right! It should help. You can also stiffen the compression setting on the right rear shock more than the left too.

  18. The races were awesome - sold out - max crowd fire marshal was pissed :) my car was running 5.88 @ 115 all night. I ran a pass with the O2 sensor and it show the pump is too small. Its a little lean at 6000 and gets fat - where it needs to be at 8000. We swapped from the 40 pill to 35 and then in the final rounds went to 22 . Was a good time. I don't have any cool pics yet. I made it to 2nd round of the finals and got taken out by Snake Bite.

We were walking around under the trees and all of a sudden this limb fell. I was standing on that rock 30 seconds before.

Moonshiner Josh's car - the guy can drive. He did way better than I did my first race.

Looks like I'll be making the trip to Clay City, unfortunately without my car :( . Cant catch a break on the build, running into little problems every turn, not enough time, you know the usual excuses.

Dude, your a 10 hour drive away!!! I have all my parts, just making them fit is a pain. A couple years back we started it out to be a street car, that's where we went wrong lol! Now we get to a certain point and have to changed something to make the next thing fit. We are getting it but its just a grind now.

I had a blast this weekend, the crowd was awesome, parking was shaded, and the racing with friends was great as always! What more could a man ask for?

    ALL PICS UPLOADED

  26. Me and Tim wanted to get the wheels real high for a photo and so we raised the wheelie bars like 2". I pulled up and the camera guy was there hanging over the guardrail. I nailed it and it stood up and how it didn't hid the guard rail I'll never know. It must have been 1/8" off the guard rail for 20 feet and wouldn't come back because of the spool and sticky. Woooo we went back to the pits and lowered them back down :)

Did he get the pic? Did you ever figger out how to keep it from going left on the starts?

  28. I don't think so - I saw a pic somewhere that shows him running and the camera is swinging straight out on the strap LOL :p:D

  29. Jason Cole has been shooting pictures around the North Georgia area since I can remember and he does excellent work! Really digging the B/W effect.
