Congrats on the barn find. New daily for the crew chief? Snowman
Is that two now ????????????????
Wow, targets & an old vickey.... lucky stiff
As soon as Russ loans me 4 wheels 5 on 5-1/2 maybe Saturday
It's gonna be a driver hot rod!
Just one LOL - how do I tell if that is the good banger?
Wanna sell the Vickie?
Send me a Convo if you do.
Tony, here's a banger thread of long running here on the HAMB. I also have a friend just to the West of me that has all sorts of stuff for bangers, including complete rebuilt "B" engine(s).
If I did that what would I drive on cruise nights with you? At this time the gasser is my only car and I need some cruising wheels.
Gonna have to see the crank, it's got counter balance weights if it's a B, Now that i thought about it, It's an A block, there is no fuel pump, it could have a B crank but don't think so. Also is there the letter C cast in the top of the head ?
Little slow on the post production but here’s another one
Here's the Florida race - my clutch broke in qualifying so we didn't make any elimination passes
And more Vicky pics. Moving in to the new shop. And I got a deal on a rebuilt but never started 354 that will fit right in
damn that shop looks empty
Is this your new shop? Moving?
Well hopefully we can change that soon.
Yeah that's the new shop. Took forever to get done but its finally about ready. We are going to move there someday ..... can't come soon enough.
Live in the motor home, sell the house, start building, simple right?
Still didn't get my B/G engine put together for this race so the next best thing. Watch LIVE!
Ok enough is enough. The B/G pistons were lost by UPS so now it’s June . I decided to put the A/G motor back in and go racing.
My buddy who has a very successful restaurant stopped by on memorial day weekend and helped with the car.
Just this morning I was say'n "Where the hell has Quick and Dirty been"?
A/gas, go big or go fish'n, right Tony!
I found this neat lttle story by Quain about your pal, thought ya'll would like it.
I've seen that sponsor on Jimmy's Hoopty Wagon. Where's his restaurant? I'd give him business.
Yeah the nice thing is A/G only has like 15 cars I think B/G is around 30. I was going to have to put about 200 pounds in it for B/G even with a 392 inch engine. Really curious how a 392 would run though .....
This cat is a little strange I haven’t been to his place yet. He only serves one menu item each day and it’s always #5
Here's another race video. If you don't watch the whole thing, at least look at the 19 minute mark where the guy that bought Donovans White Trash hits the wall. I was on the fence where the tire came off and a dude got hit in the face by a piece of the aluminum rim. Glad it didn't hit a kid. He had a pretty good black eye / nose from it.
Man, I gotta get down there and see this, hands down the coolest drag racing ANYWHERE!
The quantity and quality of the cars in the SEGA is outstanding, thanks Tony.
That looks tasty!
We had a typical weekend at the races - broke some stuff - fixed some stuff - made some passes . Kim has 4 chickens now so we rolled to the gate and the guy asks “just you two in there?” And so we said us two an 3 dogs and 4 chickens . He said that’s odd. We were in Kentucky so
Got this oldie ?
What ever happened to the tri 5 your amigo was building???
I don’t know mopar stuff, can you put a smaller 354 crank in a 392 block? Make a small cubic inch screener.
That's pretty cool - that must have been the Meltdown Drags since it says B/G
He's still at it. It's almost done. Hope he gets to the track before this season is over.
The 354 mains are smaller but you could probably make a shim. That would be a better direction to go than my way over stroked 467. I'm still working on the B/G engine but yeah a 354 would be the sweet spot I bet.
