We have 4 licensed rides here (2 are hot rods), each have an identifying name so we know which one we are going to jump into to go someplace. The name usually contains the year, but not always. Even the projects get names, so my wife can keep up with things I'm planning for them. Sometimes the names change out of necessity, if we have a 48 something and then get another 48, the year doesn't help much. Currently we have the PT, the coupe, the little green truck, (the last one was the little red truck) and the 39 or sometimes called the little orange truck. The 49 is the current project. Gene
Good names: "The Lincoln", her car is "The Expy", her F Bird is "The yellow car", my pickup is "The truck", the Freightliner is "The Big Truck". Bad names: You really don't want to hear the bad names I have when something is torn up and I gotta work on it! Depending on how bad it is, they can sometimes be words you've never heard!
My roadster’s name is Mortis. The name of the pale horse Death rides. It’s earned the name. r Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Sure do! "The '32" "The Mustang" "The Unibody" "The Edge" "The 4x4" I'm not imaginative...….the wife does know exactly which vehicle I'm talking about though... SPark
Mine is black and orange/copper colored. Named it “Penny” because I liked the connection to the copper. I’m also a huge Halloween guy so when I told a friend the name he asked if it was short for Pennywise. From there it just sort of morphed. Then I got it pinstriped. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
