This one does it for me... It's starting to look and feel like that time of year again...

Waiting For The UPS Truck So I Can Start On The Restoration...
My kids (back about 1984):
Gerber replica seen at FAMOSO a few years back.
Getting to be part of the show doing push truck duty, at Bakersfield Hot Rod Reunion, with my Dad and his truck
I just looked through my car photo's and realized I have many that make me smile. Most are of good friends and car events, like Hershey. It really hit home this year. Also many involved giving the finger to HRP.
HRP was good at returning the gesture!
Then there was this!
Drinking beer in the garage with friends
Help putting the body back on.
Another HERSHEY photo!
And my wiring helper!
Almost forgot, this one is for sure puts a smile on my face! Second time around.
That's one kool picture and a neat looking car. (Neat? My age is showing.) You don't
need to believe me but I'd rather have that car than anything Boyd produced. Can
you say "simpler times"?
...Craftsmanship one smiling pound at a time...also knowing this Hamber built the Hotrod I have the privilege of owning as we speak makes me smile...
...I enjoy as a Artist turning back the clock on modern imagery and sharing them with you Hambers...
I am truly amazed at how informed the Membership are with some picking up on questionable details...as were pointed out in this Stogyism...
It was the plate/pic year versus the Completion of the Hirahota Merc...
Nailing a plausible image with the conversation it raised makes me smile...

Don, this car belongs to Dwight Cass, I've know him for many years and has been a moonshiner for most of his life in Boonville, North Carolina, he has a very nice 1932 sedan and and mint 1932 Ford 3 window and has driven both with us on the All Deuce Run several times and also owns a couple of 40 coupes, one original and one hot rod.
Cass has run afoul with the law several times in his life, just like Junior Johnson, in 2015 he was busted with 2 stills, 90 quarts of non taxed moonshine and 12 firearms.
Cass is one interesting guy and his 40 coupe is a real beauty with a Caddy engine. HRP
This car set the "Hook" for me back in the day, still makes me smile.
I think this one just says it all to me. HRP
But these guys make me smile, I know they like me! HRP

This image, me and first born working on his papops 50. Story in signature line
How about Wild Willy Borsch one handing it!
This picture makes me smile..and sad at the same time..
The good part is that these are my two "kids"..It was my 70th birthday party and the day before I had finished the roadster after an 8 yr build ..Both kids got a real kick out of the car.....and I'm so glad the picture was taken..These are the 3 best things I ever made...
The sad part is that I buried the kid on the right this past July @ 47 y/o...It was a sudden , unexpected event and really put my life on a different path...She was my best buddy and I miss her deeply.. Life is short , my friends...
