I just burned some office time on a rustolem thread. Very entertaining. It reminded me of a conversation about a paint kit collection some guy had. There used to be DIY kits out there that included everything from powderpuffs to insect sprayers. Anybody have any of these kits, used them in the way back days, etc.... Pics, Comments, stories... What do you got?

I've got a 1957 Kirby vacuum cleaner that has a sprayer kit with it, along with a cable driven sanding attachment.

We got talked into buying one of those in 57 when we got married. Paint sprayer was about as useless an the sweeper. Couldn't get my wife to use either.
