4 sets of points, maybe Lincoln V12?
It only has 8 lobs but the v12 cap fit nicely.
Didn't someone make a dual plug head for the flat head?
Yes I just saw that somewhere but don't remember who.
How about a 16 cylinder something, Cad, Pierce Arrow, Marmon, Packard.
Kong Jackson. (JERD: 'Jackson Engineering Racing Division') Pete Jackson's older brother.
That's the 'dual plug flathead heads')
The TITAN fuel pump was the type used on Curtis/Jenny bi-planes. HRP
The pump it the only thing I've been able to find anything about on this. It's a very good idea and believe it would really work good I just would love to know the history of it.
What kind of machining equipment did this gentlemen own or operate?
You seem to come up with quite the oddball stuff.
Was he making this stuff with available parts?
He was just a old school car guy. He did lots and lots of reading so maybe he just sought out odd stuff he read about at one time is all I can figure. He was a super smart man.
There was another manufacturer of dual plug heads for the flathead- Elco.
So have any of y'all seen a cap with 16 wires?
Oh wow ok this may be for that with 8 lobs and 4 sets of points.
I will see if I can get a picture of it the next time I am there.
Cool history lesson going on here. I'll be eagerly awaiting the outcome!
That would be great thanks.
I would love to run this but would probably pass out from the cost of duel plug heads.
Nothing ventured nothing gained.
Shame that alternator is blocking the view.
I don't know if that' the same set up just noticed the duel plug heads
Still Bad Ass!!!!
