Technical Distributor cap

Anyone using one of those CrossFire caps on a SBC? If so, is it just a remove / replace deal? Looks neat.

 

they've been around for decades. i've heard a few bad reviews...

 

Had one for a long time. Might need new plug wires to do a neat job

 

I've heard you need to carry a spare. Otherwise you may not be able to use your same plug wires with a stock, non-crossfire, cap.

Got one. Works fine. Easier plug wire routing, but you’ll want a cheat sheet handy for wiring because the pins are not in firing order.
