Technical Distributor cap, What does it fit?

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by jrblack30, Feb 17, 2020.

  1. OK folks,

I was out in the shop yesterday looking through some boxes of stuff I bought a while ago and came across the V8 Distributor cap. I have no Idea of what it is for Any thoughts?
I know it is an early car, I have seen this type of cap before< I cannot remember where or what it fits.

    It looks new, never run.

I'm sure those early RR/Bentlys had Delco electrics. Have you tried the cap on an early SBC distributor?
