I know there was quite a discussion a while back about disc vs drum brakes. Well in keeping w/ a traditional theme I'm going after, I decided to put some 48 brakes on my coupe. My buddy Robert in Detroit (MrMidnite), was good enough to bring me a MINT set at a great price(read FREE). Next step is swapping out the nova rear to a 56 merc rear end he also brought over & installing a 4/71 blower. DAVE

The wheels will be powder coated red, same color as the engine & tranny will be. Still have the pinhead, the 409 & the flatty I pulled out. Gonna keep the hemi in it this time. I'm waiting on the blower manifold(4/71). It is supposed to be here tomorrow. I'm for sure gonna have it done in time for Mokan, but I doubt if I'll be able to drive it there. This thing is gonna be crazy w/ the blower scoop about same height as the roof. LOL DAVE

Looks just right to me. But I don't like A's sectioned to death. That looks just right, real clean lines.

Removing disc brakes for Ford drums, nova rear for a merc rear, it's a beautiful thing!
