Well I had a customer come pick up a chassis Friday night, so on the eve of a holiday weekend and a empty stall in the shop, I fugured what the hey, lets work on your own stuff for the first time in 8 months. I gotta agree, it just felt real wierd but felt oh so great, So I got it rolled into the shop around 11pm Friday night, made a list I wanted to accomplish this weekend. Boiled down to Steering, motor mounts finished, wishbone mounts finished, front crossmember finished, raise steering drop 2 inches, install new scattershield, and get mock up motor and tranny back in so I could start the firewall. It was a long hot weekend but we got alot done, I think the temp in the shop averaged 105 with a low of 88 and a high of 112. Good time for sure, but back to customer stuff alreardy, heres some pics
Rusty,Love your front motor mount for SBC. It is just enough different to be your own creation. Like the bump out for the steering also. Great progress on your Hot Rod !
I love it ,, especially with the superT10 and the sbc and 9" !!! Now we can cruise long distance again !!!
Wait !!!! I still got that zepher crap in my roadster ... I'll change the gears in the anglia and go for it ..

Nicely done and can't wait for you to have it on the road again...that and I can't wait to get mine back to you for some more work
Diggin the dash. Very cool. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Like I told the kid, "Your music's not too loud, its just like OKC, it sucks!"
Good your back on it Rusty! Diggin this build. And to those condemning the sbc, you'll be forced to ignore them cuz they'll be too far behind you when you get it out -Shiny
Looking real good Rusty, I was outside a lot this weekend and man was it hot, just think what August will be like in the shop.
Man Rusty, you don't mess around! I'm with you on the "HOT" shop! I painted the metal roof with Cool Flex and it helped some. I am thinking radiant barrier insulation now.
