    I checked my email,... Lil' Daddy Roth sent this along,.... Sad news, another one gone.

    Here is the text, from the email from Dennis Roth,...

    "Hey gang sad news! The Kern county sheriffs dept. called today they found our friend “Dirty Dougs” body today…..Long live DIRT! The picture is from 2009 Charlie, myself, DIRT, Suzanne and Robert Williams"

    I don't have any details,... If I get some, I'll pass them on,... suffice to say,.. Another legend of Hot Rodding / customizing history is gone.

    Damn. He was one of the first rodding linked people I became aware of, about 1960 when I was 12 or so...I knew him only as a character in the little fiction stories on Roth that appeared in Rod and Custom. It was years later that I learned he was a real person!

    Dirty Doug, Was Ed's sidekick for most of his car building antics, He helped create whatever, Ed dreamed up.
    Plaster, Fiberglass, sanding, painting,........ you name it.
