    In Minnesota, there is a different kind of Gopher motor. That's what I was thinking this would be.

    Thanks for the great story. You’re right about the people you meet that you otherwise wouldn’t. I have met A ton because of hot rodding.Memories like this last A lifetime. Snowman

    Very cool!!!! So, what is the purpose of the counter balanced crank?

    Great question. The counterbalanced crank reduces how much the engine moves in the mounts, resulting in less wasted energy and smoother running. At least that's how I understood it.

    Awesome video! This gentleman exemplifies the difference between a hoarder and a collector. He knows what he has and where it is, he has great stuff, well cared for, and accessible. He is a true collector.
