Use 5 gallon water cooler bottles if you have to haul water a long ways, bring a hand cart or wheelbarrow too.

Look at it this way, at worst you will end up with some good door bottoms for your next find.

Or slap a roof on made from something non traditional, like a fridge door. I know I would

So did he give it to you or is he letting you dig it out and then he'll want it or want $$ for it?? FWIW, all Model A coupes are going to be 5 window ones. Except for a couple of one-offs (really rare), that's all Henry made.

Its unfair that your buried coupe looks more solid than the above ground coupes found in New England.

Talked to him today. Nice old guy. At first some thought it could have been a roadster.

Go find a frame or some sort that kinda fits (doesn't need to be exact). Bring it and the body to a high school that has some sort of Automotive or shop program. Otherwise, bring it down here and I would be perfectly willing to try to build it up. Possibly on an AMC frame, as I have a number of those.

I meant less traditional than say a good roof or brand new sheet metal.

Good buddy! Anytime you find a buddy who doesn't have a 'bad back' when it comes to digging, that's a good buddy.

Worse case is that that floor and maybe the lower few inches will fix a coupe that is in dire need of those pieces. I'd bet that someone with one of those out of the 60's channeled with a cutting torch coupes is looking at those photos and figuring out how they would fix their car.

This is more fun than watching Geraldo Rivera open Capone's vault. BTW, I dug my 34 out of a bank...one check at a time.

    Keep digging, I'll keep watching,
