Completed the tailgate and restoration on my Metal Masters windup Woody Wagon. Kept the original blue color. I did not like the yellow color for the woody part so I used a light brown and then hand brushed a darker brown to get a finish I liked.
Good Tuesday. I took a couple pictures of my grandson playing last night. He likes my old toys better than newer plastic unreal looking stuff.
And reupping this one I made for @Ryan a few years ago... including making the HAMB logo decal for the roof--
These were the Wix '50 88 coupe Christmas campaign cars for 1997 or '98, sold at one of the parts warehouses. They had a horrible undercarriage - these now just have tin can lids bent & drilled for axles underneath. Coin slot in deck lids filled, some paint ( the blue is '50 ''Crest Blue'' touchup from a real car). The maroon was from a $.69 mid-'60s Testor's can that still worked.
I was checking out the HAMB, and thought hay it’s Tuesday. So happy Tuesday to ya. So I took a few pictures with my phone. But don’t look at the OT cars. I’m to lazy to move them.
Dug through my junkyard of 1:64 scale cars I tore apart and decided to make something from some parts and pieces.
Haven't been doing much lately with any die-cast , been hanging out over on the plastic model side of town , but with all of this dry weather that's going around ...I thought I would check out that 32 Ford roadster that was submerged in the lake that I posted sometime back...maybe it's visible now.....well it was , and so were the ol boys that rode it to the bottom , along with there moonshine still and case of shine, ....looks like they probably had some help getting there by the evidence of bullet holes in the car and guns scattered around.
Picked up another old Tootsietoy that was in decent shape but missing the drivers head. Located a metal head that I drilled and made a stud for mounting. Found a little paint to match and added the car to my collection.
My phone won't let me log in on the HAMB ? So I can only post old pictures from my P.C. file. I hope they are either new, or so old you don't remember them! Lol
