Hello everyone .... thought I would show you my buddy's diecast collection. The majority is 1/25 banks , with a few other sizes of diecast collectables thrown in for good measure. The collection numbers in the 350 plus range !!! Enjoy !
Heres a few I pulled out of the display case. Not cleaned or anything.. The 40 coupe and 62 vett fit the site but I figured the 65 Shelby mustang was close enough to the spirit of what this is about to show it as well. The 40 and 62 cars are Danbury mint cars. The Shelby is a Franklin Mint. All about 1/24 scale. Enjoy.
I just took this 57 Buick roadmaster out of the box. So I know it hasn't been posted yet. It's getting hard to remember. Lol Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Here's one you can get from ol' Matchbox. I keep missing the Tuesday die-cast posts. I'll try to post some of the relevant stuff we make. This will be in the 9 packs this year. My IG is @matchboxworld But you have to be an admirer of all types of cool cars.
That was a good deal Ed. I'll post an updated picture of the old 32 Chevy in the fish tank. (A note) no fish were harmed in the making of this diorama. Yet that is. Lol Ron... Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I can remember when Frenches Trainhouse was located between Sea-Tac and Federal Way on old hwy. 99 so. Good old days !
A little bump, to keep this going. This is 32 roadster I redid in red primer. And it's sitting on a 1930s Marx service station lift. Let's see a few more diecast today. Thanks Ron... Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Barn Find.. I have the same ones , is the roadster and the tub the only versions that Tonka made...? Sent from my QTASUN1 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
View attachment 3659131 ...here's a pewter 49 Ford wagon, it was a bank give-away model ,...a White truck I just picked up, and a mock up of my Hubley A coupe I'm workin on.
They made several versions including a roadster pickup and a roadster with a rumble seat. The green one was probably a phaeton, which would have had a white plastic top boot, but they used the same body for a sedan with the upper body made of black plastic. They even painted a taxi version.
I just finished making this powered USB hub in this 1958 Chevy LCF. Power connector and USB-to-computer connector is in the rear doors, and it holds up to 9 USB devices plugged into the top... flash drives, keyboard, mouse, phone chargers, whatever USB device you might want to connect. Wheee...
I like those Ed. The old stuff is the coolest. Here's a before and after shot of one of my bird houses. Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Please say it's not so ed! You just need to get some more. I'll probably find something new at Hershey this week. I've never bought anything on line. Stuff just seems to find me. Lol Ron... Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
( barn find ) great job on the tanker! Here's a couple more diecast in front of some old doll houses. I got them cheap, at swap meets or flea markets. Usually $10. Or so. To use on the slot car layout. Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
"Intruder, Alert!" Hello, Having built a ton of bird houses out of antique, 50+ year old recycled wood from old, Santa Ana houses, we are down to one last birdhouse. All of the rest belong to relatives and friends for their homes or yards. This last house has been sitting for the last 17 years on this stump outside and seemed like a good place for a photo shoot. But, an “intruder” just happened to dislodge part of the house, just in time for Halloween. Jnaki A 1959 satin beige Chevy wagon that was my wife’s family wagon and my 1965 red El Camino parked in the shade. Those boards should have been in the bed of the El Camino. But, boards plus wagons just seemed like the thing to do for a So Cal scene.
Jnaki, That's another cool story. Thanks, If you notice that the roof is smashed on the Rancharo. That happened in a storm. The bird house got blew over on it. And then I had to reattached it. I'll never stop playing. Lol Ron... Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
