We took the green '29 Tudor on a 2,500 mile journey last week from home to the other end of the other Island and back....involved 2 x 4hr Ferry crossings too. Went to the world famous BEACH HOP at Whangamata in the North Island of New Zealand. Annmarie drove most of the way as it's her car, rained heavy at one stage, a few windscreen leaks, but that's not uncommon on my Model A's It's the end of Autumn here and temps averaged about 17deg C.
we were lucky at the 5 day event as most of the rain came at night time.
I took my first ride of the year yesterday, about 5 minutes out the clouds gave way...oh well, I'm wet now - drove around another hour or so. Actually a great way to start the year, now I have to clean her up.
