I really want to use all weiand speed parts for my 401 nailhead. I recently purchased weiand marine log style exhaust manifolds and would love a 3X2 weiand intake and valve covers. Anybody repop them or have someone that deals in weiand stuff?
I know a local guy who has 3 two's on his nailhead in a restored early Stock Car, but i am not sure who the maker is........I'll try to find out.... Brucie
I know that Weiand made 3x2s for the '53-'56 and '57-'58 engines, but I've never seen one for the '59-'66 blocks.
My 1961 Honest Charlie catalog lists a Weiand WB-3D Buick (all except compact) Same pt.# for 3 bolt carbs or 4 bolt carbs.
I have a Weiand 1965 1/2 catalog and it lists three manifolds for the Buick in both dual fours and triples. For 59-65 401 cu.in. it lists Model No. WB 3D C and Part Number 7282 and you had to specify 3 or 4 bolt drilling. List price was $92.50 The one listed by Tommy was Model WB 3D B for the 57-61 for the 364 cu. in. According to the catalog 53-56 264 and 322 cubes 57-61 364 cubes 59-65 401 cubes and the dual fours were grouped the same. Hope this helps but I don't like your chances of finding one. Just looking at your post again and in my catalog Weiand made valve covers for Buicks 53-63 part No 7205 Cat #WB 542 AND spark plug covers Part No.7206 Cat# WB 24 Photo in the catalog for the valve covers but not for the plug covers. Valve covers looks like the fins are on the top only. Price was $54.50 and $24 Your water cooled manifold is shown too- Model No.WMB $109.50!! Hey that would be neat to see a nailhead with ALL the Weiand gear. They look sweet with just chrome stuff but add all the alloy and it would be a killer!! swifty
