I took this split wishbone adapter off a 32 roadster with an original 32 frame. The hot rod started its life in the late 50s then went thru more changes in the 60s and 70s.I have my ideas but what years do you think this split wishbone adapter was installed?

I'll guess. Maybe the late 60s or early 70s. That was about the time everyone started bolting stuff in, just in case they changed their minds.

    What did I win?

Id like a little more input, but your idea makes sense. I thought it would be before they attached splits to the frame maybe mid fifties?

What joints were used on the ends of the wishbones? That might be more helpful than the pic of the crossmember.

Honestly dont have a clue but I would think 70s, 80s. or later, any earlier would have usually (it seems) been more over built than that looks.

Maybe one of the members who has had a '32 for many years, like @Deuce Daddy Don or @Rockerhead will know and ring in here, but my guess is that it's a '70's piece. You might find an ad in an old magazine, are there any numbers on it at all?
