Ha ha! Brant, they are on the right side. To you wise-ass Aussies, the rego office here issues Maltese cross mirrors with your plates, but you don't have to run them.
I heard you need at least one of these. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Car-Front-Gr...orcycle_Parts_Accessories?hash=item4a94fbe800
very nice, but i knew it would be. Anything happening on the sloper or is it in hiding waiting it turn.
Excellent Car. I was going to make the wise ass comment about the pedals, but I see someone beat me to it ! ! ! I'd crash the poor car if I drove from the Right side ! ! Love the build. Great color.
This is gonna be a good-lookin' hot rod for sure!! I too like the colour combo ...always did like painted details - gives the car it's own personality. Nice! -Dave
so are you going to 'spill the beans' about which colur 'velour' you've finally picked?...... looking forward to seeing it with the trim in, will be sweet.... Note: Steering wheel - has the wheel been painted yet? really think just the bone coloured 40 wheel would be my preffered...KISS Cheers, Drewfus P.S. Welcome back to NSW
Few more bits and pieces going on the chassis. Made a heat shield for the M/C's and the low mount alt. bracket designed by the owner worked out real well. The owner* has a custom auto electrics business and is doing all the engine side stuff in cloth wrap (more to come on the wiring later.) There's a stop on the push rod for the clutch to limit travel for the hydraulic throwout - they're pretty sensitive to over reaching. *Craig Borthwick. Some of you would have met him with me when I was over there in 07.
Beautiful chassis but the steering wheel, brakes etc... are on the wrong side. Great work, top notch.
The wheel's done, fuel block ready and a cover for the big ol' clutch fork hole. Even put a decent horn on.
Thanks guys, I didn't realise how much dust there was 'til I loaded these pics. And I'm still trying to track down some good crushed velour for Drewfus. He's an ideas man!
