That is sweet. It looks more than ready to me.
...............Same here. Great looking Roadster.
A couple more from the basement.
Got to see More Aggravation one of my all time favorite Comp Coupes and meet Al. By the way, Winner of the First Ridler Award!
Just nit picking, only one d in Ridler. And Bergler won it once, in 1964. 1965 was Bob Massaron with the A Brother's Venturian. I only know that because I have Bob Larivee's book on my desk!
Went in the early nineties and there was a blizzard that weekend that cut the attendance down considerably. I Was strolling down a deserted aisle when a curtain parted and there stood Big Daddy Ed Roth. He had a top hat on and a red velvet smoking jacket. We talked for a bit and he showed me pictures of his latest projects
. Before we parted ways I asked him to sign my show program. He thumbed through it before choosing a place to sign it. He started to draw and I watched as he drew me my own personal Rat Fink.
^^^^What a treasure!!!^^^
Just booked my rooms, I'm admittedly bad about procrastinating with booking trips. Excited for another great year
i miss the parties at denise's.
sqiggy wearing his pants backwards, falling backwards down the basement stairs, all the way from the landing to the basement floor...twice...and on purpose.
people logging on to the hamb on denise's computer and then forgetting to log out only to find gay and stupid shit that was posted on their account when they logged back in when they got home.
there's something about michigan car shows, they always have the coolest home made trophies. autorama billetproof even this small parking lot show we sneaked across the border to go to.
She’s right. They look like a couple of boneheads.

Good times. Good times.
Here's a few more from last year's show.
Great stuff, everyone. Thanks for posting.
Took a picture of that black Deuce roadster with a matching trailer at a lawn show in South Lyons Mich. in 1984.
Elwood Petersons' and looks like his 40 delivery next to it.
That was always a good show. One year back then I won the fifty -fifty draw there. It was great day but on the way back to the Canadian border crossing I began to wonder if I got pulled over into customs how I was going to explain a box in my trunk that contained over 500 bucks in one dollar bills.
had may daughters derby car upstairs in 2010
A few more from the basement.
Lota fingers and 4 doors in this show.
Boy she really gets around
