[/ QUOTE ] 155 Kennedy Ave, jeez, years ago I worked at a place called Quality Wheels at 150 Kennedy Ave in Campbell. Kooky. That coupe looks like a damn nice machine. I hope it work out for you.
Hey Kev, If yer having a money problem (like, way too much of it), just let me know - I can take some of it off your hands w/o the hassle and headache of shipping a car. I'll even drive over & pick it up! PS - Looks like mine - except mine's a '40
well ernie,i think it would be only fair for ME to drive the thing back east, with a per diem for gas and food, plus an airline ticket for the trip back to california
I would love to have that myself! Don't worry, out of my price range currently. I'd drop that axle and then... DONE.
Yorg, I was talking about picking up his money! Save him from the hassle of shipping a car...his wallet will be just as empty!!
You guys crack me up.....wish i had loadsa money, just had a sale of something i really love & this 39 will replace it very well, i was thinkin the very same drop the axle & done. Just hope the feedback from Yorg is good.....
Hey 32limey, I'm here in San Jose, am doing a '39 Standard Ford wagon and have a little experience with them. If you want, contact me PM. K
Don't you just love the HAMB!! George you just saved my life.....THANKS & Dave you were right a big long barge pole guess i'm in the market for a nice '39 Coupe now.
[ QUOTE ] Dave you were right a big long barge pole [/ QUOTE ] Cool, glad to have been of help...... Just to shed a little light on Kev's comment's..... The car was offered for sale by the company I worked for last year, I warned Kev off them, as I had 'inside info' on the way they worked on cars etc. Glad you got sorted Kev, and a big thanks to George. Dave
it was easy for me,as i am not likely to get all starry eyed at the sight of a pre-war ford it's all too easy to overlook all the warts and dings on a car you fall in love with like my Olds,or my brother's Hudson.they were cheap though, this guy wanted top bluebook value for an amateur resto #3 at best, the auction price it's at now is too much by half in my opinion-george
