A couple of weekends ago, on one of my rare Saturday afternoons off, I had the pleasure of rollin' out with a friend to go check on his cars (parked out the middle of next to nowhere), and got to take a look around at some "rusting treasures". . .none of these cars are for sale, so don't bother asking . . .none of them belong to me (the owner won't sell'em ). . .but it was a great way to spend the afternoon, wadin' thru knee high weeds and bramble bushes, fending off mosquitos, to look around and shoot some "artsy" pics. . .great way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon in TX: The Hearses. . .
really great shots,,,the closeups are incredible,,,and you've done a great job capturing it in the photos,,,,you definitely have the eye,,,,,,,,,,,
More Buick. . . Panel Van. . Caddies. . . Merc. . .4 door. . . Some close-ups. . .Random things that caught my eye. . .
Thanks, the 58' Caddy is a hearse, so is the 48' to the best of my knowledge, although they may have been used as ambulances. . .wouldn't surprise me in the least. . .
Some rustin' husks. . . Still uploadin' a few more. . .some less "artsy" shots. . .full body shots of a couple of these cars. . .
Some of those cars where someones pride and joy at one time and could be again. Save these rusting hulks. Great photos. You couldn't take pictures like that of very many new cars. You couldn't tell one from another.
