Digging up a "buried" one has to be easier than lowering one from a barn loft.

Yes it was alot easier than lowering the 3 window body from the barn loft
is that you Gary??? If so you can see I put your old body to good use! Still wish I had my Damn camera maybe I need to pull the body back off come back down and restage it!!!!

The roadster project key be neat, but I doubt it can be anywhere as near as cool as your coupe!

  4. I'm guessing a 33/34 roadster.

Love the coupe, never saw a close up of it besides in your avatar. Fantastic.

THANK'S I got to have one of these someday.

    Why not?
I was at Goodguys Indy about 11 or 12 years ago, saw a rather rough looking full fendered deuce roadster- patina'd body and fenders, Mexican blanket 'upholstery', it had a steering wheel spinner knob, and a stout bar parallel with the bottom of the dash, pivoted at the left hand end, pushrod down to the brake pedal, and a motorcycle twist grip throttle on the right end. I was smiling, walking away when the owner came along. He was a paraplegic, in a wheelchair. Rolled up alongside the car, swung the door open, hoisted himself into the drivers' seat, folded his wheelchair and slid it into the scissor-type luggage rack on the running board. He then started the car, backed out of his parking spot, and barked the tires taking off.
    Handicap? What handicap?

Edit: I'm also acquainted with a man who's a quadraplegic. Had a '52 Chev panel with a wheelchair lift inside the rear door, and hand controls. Drove it cross country on a hot rod tour.

  23. Both rods are sooooo cool dude. Plus I really like the 1951 Monark bike. Would you happen to have a extra tail light for the one I am restoring?
