Projects Dealer Badges

Does anyone know where you might get an old dealer badge? I am looking for one from the 50's for a Chevrolet dealer in the Baltimore area.

 

I'd check the dreaded Ebay. I sometimes see them at swaps in boxes filled with misc. emblems. Here in CA, not many dealers use them. When I see them on another car, it usually has out of state plates.

 

Check the swap meets in your area. I often see vendors here with a box full of old dealer badges.

I just unloaded a box of chromed metal and some elaborate looking plastic emblems I've salted away over a 45 year run of collecting them.
I worked in wholesale and retail sales and removed them when we installed our own emblems.
Must have had close to 250-300 or more.
Sold the whole lot of them for $275.
I know,it was cheap.
Why are people wanting things AFTER I sell them?
