  2. Looks like it must have been one of Carl Kiekhaefer's tow vehicles or shop wagon.

  7. This is a track vehicle to keep the field of cars in place during the warm-up laps, NOT a pace car.
    1956 "Daytona" pace car was a 56 Desoto convertible, FYI the pace car did not have the Nascar logo, it had a checkered flag on its doors.
