WOW awesome cars. thanks for the pics
a real cool mix of cars and styles cool
rad... I've always thought this would be a fun event to hang at.
Great pics. Love the black 37. Nice and clean and simple.
Great looking cars. I love those shine runner/sleeper types.
My Great grandpappy made 'shine on his farm in Kansas during proabition. Don't know if he had a moonshine runner or not. The feds did catch him though. 9 months in the slammer.
thanks for the pic looks like a lot of fun keep them coming anyone eles
Last of the pictures
I've always wanted to go to this show. Almost went this weekend but stayed home & worked on the '32.
Maybe next year I can drive mine. Ryan, fly into Knoxville & ride down with me.
I did'nt get to go Saturday but , got up early and rolled into town this morning.
Lot of cool cars as always. Had my grandson's picture made beside my 39 with Jim Mitchum and chatted with him a bit. There is some talk about doing a new Thunder Road movie.
Ryan and Harrison ,I know both of you will love seeing all those old coupes and race cars around the court house . Hope to see ya'll there sometime.
Thank's for posting the picture's , SWIGJ. Did you see the Eddie Meyer v-8 60 head's and intake on the tail gate ,laying in front of the Cadillac engine in your photo?
We were there with the Caddy. I have never been to a show like that. Awesome old race cars and I've never seen so many 40 Fords in my life. Dawsonville is definitely a Ford town. Saturday Bill Elliott came over to look at my car and got to talk with him a little. Thats my wife with Bill. Great little town and neat show.
Thanks for the pics! We had a good time looking at all the shine runner cars on the square. Here are some pics I took:
BTW that Cad is incredible!
I built the caddy engine in this Ford from NC that was there
I hope you won . I thought your car was the nicest one I looked at.
Thanks for the pics. A few of my friends went and really had a good time. They said they have never seen SO MANY built Fords in one place!
I'd like to go next year, I'm putting it on the calendar
Thanks for posting the pics. I have some more and will try to get them on later. Work is getting in the way today
So many 40's. The original shine runner by the courthouse looked like it had a new paint job; lost a lot of the appeal without the patina.
Quite a few cars with Caddy 2x4 motors.
LOTS of big block Ford Galaxies and 2 dr. post cars. Two with SOHC's.
Seemed like a bigger turnout than before, even with the bad weather.
With the peak color change in the mountains and hundreds of cars, what's not to like?
Gotta put this one on the to-do list when I move back East...thanks for the pix
Great pictures, that looks like a really good show.
Here is a few i missed
