Sorry to hear this. Dave is one of the most talented builders of our times. He is also one of the nicest. I got to know him when I purchased the Kandy Kart '58 Impala he built in the '60s. Wish I still had it.

Say a silent prayer for Dave and his family. A star in his own right.

Mr. Stuckey, your Little Coffin rocked the world for literally millions of kids!
Who gets to do that? Santa Claus? Thank you, and bless you!

That Pontiac has always given me a tingly feeling all over. I love the Kansas style. Best wishes to Dave & his family from me & mine.

Boy, pure 70's. That car brings back memories.
Definitely was a "Kansas" style, those flaired fenders in particular. When I was first getting into the custom car thing it was the early 70's and the only thing we really had around Albuquerque to see national type stuff was Starbird's show that came once a year so my early stuff had strong "Kansas" influence because that's what I imitated.
I've be a follower of Dave's work forever, wish him the best.

Best wishes, and prayers for Dave and his family. I have been through this with family and most recently with a good friend. Definitely tough, but the hospice folks are amazing.

  26. Many thanks to Dave for his contributions to the hobby. And for designing the coolest model ever.
