  1. Hey folks Hot Rod magazine been doing since I can remember but lets see some photos of hot rods and customs that dare to be different and built something cool or innovative....

    Hood and fenders...That's one of those thing that makes 'ya go huuuhuummmm....(interesting so far)
    The grille treatment...not so much though...
     
  7. things can be radical, but sometimes some just comes up with something that makes you say "WOW that is different" but in a good way. lol Cars that maybe even started a trend, someone had to dare to different type attitude.

    Holy shit... I never thought I'd see a '61 Plymouth front end that I actually liked. That looks awesome!!

    What are the tail lights? Comet? Let's hear more about this one...

    I didnt build it but just traded it for another car, its a '55 cab with a '59 nose, 80's camero subframe...350/350...drives like a new car...Steelies/paint and interior and Im finished!!

  26. Hey I might get killed for this but some of top hot rod builds are great minds in dare to be different. Look at the car a guy like Chip Foose can design or even Rad Rides by Troy, these guys may not be your cup of tea and it's cool, but got to give creativity credit where it's due! We've got 1,000's of hot rod builders here, all of them just like top guys spend hours of thinking of what they can build next, some if not most wake up in the middle of night and then find yourself in garage or at a table drawing out your idea. It's a great thing isn't it?!

    I know the buddle top got a lot of flak here but also a lot of praise by some folks, check out the work and hours put into the merc's roof and grill area. The motorcyle too boot. Everyone got to love his pickup!
