    tell us how much he paid to have his grill done? great car, my dad has a 55 to, the grill looks like the surface of the moon though.

    Yay for another '55! My daily driver's a 55 Champ...sometimes it seems the 53s and 54s get all the attention :)
    I'd love to know how much that front grill was to get rechromed too. Mine isn't bad, but one day.

  6. Hey! I did see the same car at the Art of Car Concourse this past weekend!

    Nice Nice Nice....my father has a 55 4 door studebaker president...not as cool the two door....but it is for sale! It has skirts in the back also...funky ride.

    My father had a '54 Commander with a 259 and an automatic when I was 19. Great driving car, slow as hell until it got rolling, but, it got decent gas mileage! The front end squeaked really bad when you entered a drive way or parking lot. Wish I had that car today............
