Kinda a Jettson looking ride. This is a functional car not a photo shop car.

The gang at Galpin did a really nice job on the Orbitron. Especially looking at those before and afters... Beau musta spent a bunch on that resurrection.... Worth every cent!

  9. I think as an old Kustom car guy and growin up in the 50's and 60's there isnt a bubble top car built that wont draw my attention...I saw a nearly new 1963 Jaguar XKE with a bubble top when I was a kid and was instantly addicted.....These cars are like a work of art and the builders have real imagination!!!!!!!

  14. I would build that truck in a minute!! The only change I would make is to lengthen the rear pan to skirt the rear wheels and hide the rear
    suspension..

This one from Jeff Allison gives a couple of mild to wild ideas....[IMG]

And then there is the COMETRON - can't wait to see this done. Been shown on the FAS before

I'll bet this one would scare the hell out of the kids if dad came up behind it on a dark road!
Great thread, I always loved these odd ball rods, they can be hideous, but when done right, they're so damned cool. Combination hot rod and radical Kustom, like 2 cars in one!

Here's a cool pickup built out of a 1961 Chevy GMC.

I think that's the one ("The Wishbone") that Roth hated so bad that when it was done, he sawed it in half. "Little Daddy" put it back together after BDR died.

That orange car is cool, like a Jetson hotrod. Seems like the cleaner designs work best . Almost always true, with everything.

MUCH better shot. I had a half dozen good ones but my hard drive failed and now all I have are the thumbnail versions.

Oh geez.. that's all I need is another project idea. I don't know if I'd have the heart to chop something up tho'.. unless part of it was so trashed that it was no big deal. Might be a good way to save some of the rusted out junk that would go on the scrap heap anyway. Some of these look like they'd be a lot of fun to run around in.. some of them.. ahhh not so much.
