Here is my grandson's I built for his 1st b-day. It is powered by a dewalt 14.4 volt motor, he has a blast with it.
I've posted these before. Bought 24 kits from Speedway and got local dealers, artists and hot rodders to build them for a non-profit auction. We pulled in $11,000 the first year and $15,000 the second year. Andretti Racing, Jimmy Shine and SoCal Speed did cars for us. Somebody passed this idea on to Ford for the '32 Ford pedal car auction with cars done by the big name shops. I think 12 cars brought in over $100,000 for Juvenile Diebitis

The problem with pedal cars is the kids outgrow them so fast. Once they get up and running around good they are too big. That is why I play around with the 3/8 scale powered promotional electric or gas powered versions that were made in the 50s and 60s since they are even big enough for many adults to fit. Sadly many of them are not hamb friendly but some are like the Divco
