This chopped and Sectioned 54 Ford needs some special attention.

Started by Per Webb (RPW on the HAMB) many years ago based on a four door Sedan. Then Per sold the unfinished project to Tore Persson who tackled most of the body work. And created this stunning perfectly proportioned custom.

  4. Yes, I started to build it and did the initial design work but the major part of the hard work was done by the new owner: Tore Persson. So please give him the credit for it, he is the one that deserves it!

Per, your '54 is outstanding not only in execution but in the design. Very balanced, subtle and pure 50's. Great to see all the kool Kustoms of Sweden. Keith

They look to be 1958 Caddy hubcaps with bullets added to the centre to cover the Cadillac crest.
Per originally planned to use 1953 Sombrero hubcaps for an even smoother look. But these 58 Items look nice as well, especially since no skirts where added.

Hi Keith... good to hear from you.

The 54 was originally designed by Per. But he sold the project long before it was completed. (half way with the cutting for the sectioning and not chopped)
The new owner did however folow the original planthat Per had for the car for a large percentage. But most of the credits have to go to Tore for his perfect custom work.

The image below is a photoshopped image I did for Per a few years ago, when the project was still in his garage. Except for the hubcaps and taillights this is pretty much how Per had planned it to be.

  20. Rik's is right: My old -54, now Tore's, was planned to have -53 Cad wheel covers, a -53 Chev grille, a modified 53 Ford front bumper, -53 Clipper tail lights and a four-spoke 52-53 Ford accesory steering wheel. Other plans was a somewhat different look on the rear of the roof, using the roof skin from a 51-54 Ford ht. The ride height that Tore now have is the one that I wanted. And again: I really love what Tore had done. Great work!

Right now I'm saving up parts and money for the next project...

I think I see some parts I've seen before;)

What is the next project? Can you say or know yet?
