Anybody have a spring shop between Milwaukee & Chicago that makes leaf springs reasonabaly? The two I called in Milwakee were 600-800 bucks for a pair of 1 3/4 X 34" springs, seemed a little steep!!

Thanks for the responce, Eaton Spring will make them for a little over half the price as the locals. Good people to deal with!

Over here in Minnesota, but probably one of the best in the area. They have done springs for me for my cars all the way up to my old Peterbilt.

X2 on Eaton Spring. They have built several springs for guys in our area. Good/fast service and if you accurate about what you want they will dial in a spring that will do just what your looking for.

Who did you call in Milwaukee? Did you try national spring ? They are usually good with price. Babcock also does good as hallrods said

I have had good luck and service from St. Louis Spring Company.

However, they are in St. Louis Mo. I bought a set of springs for my 59 GMC, and the shipping wasn't too bad.

Another for St. Louis Spring. Shipping was fast and their prices for my '51 Merc leaf springs were pretty reasonable.
