Anybody have any pics, photoshops, or ideas? I'm thinking about leaving the factory grille (not completely stock), but I want to do something subtle with the headlights and blinkers.

    Ready, set, go!

No way of posting, but the Tex Smith Mopar Hot Rod book has a '47 with rectangular over & under headlights, GM I think. Doesn't do much for me. frenching would probably be best.

  3. These are from Rikster's archives. Most of them I've seen are just frenched like George pointed out. I recently got some old "little pages" with custom Plymouths in them, but most of those are far from subtle.

  4. How about early 50's Buick or Kaiser Manhattan?

I dig the side by side. 58 Impala? Maybe not subtle, but I like it.

    Kaiser like this?

If anybody has it, I would love more info on the car with dual headlights. I'd like to see a closer pic of the top bar on the grille and maybe some straight front and side views. I really like that car.

  10. I dunno....pretty hard to beat original 46-48 MoPar headlights IMHO.

  11. Yes, they are similar to the Buicks style too
