Possibly one of the Ford custom car caravan cars?
Without a front and rear view, I can't id it. I did find this about half way down. Sure looks similar. http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2017/12/the-ford-custom-car-caravan-1962-1965.html
Found a better picture
The Franciscan built by Gene Winfield
Side view is bitchin'.............the grille, not so much.
Man,,,it always amazed me that the producers went to the trouble to have several cool cars in the production .
Because,,,you know it added to the overall cost of the show .
I read one time what the Munster coach cost ,,,( Barris ),,,to build .
Either way,,,,,since the show was geared towards young people,,,it was a smart move .
Agreed. The grille is 20 years ahead of it's time. But noboby's nostalgic about boxy '80's cars.
What episode, please?
Season 1, episode 26 "Far Out Munsters"
Have you seen the Punk Rods episode?
Looks a bit like one of those later Australian or South American Falcons.
Never realized it was the same car. I am not into 60s Fords but that is a cool car.
The Falcon is like the Model T of the 60s.
yup, I made a thread about that one too....
Munsters on COZI TV @ 7pm weeknights.
