Here's a great side shot of Moriarity's '55...I like this shot so much I'm going to use it as the opening photo on my Rod Authority article and that should be on the website sometime in July... R-
Does anyone have anymore info or pics of the primered in progress chopped fleetline? Also im really sorry I couldn't make it this year. I went to both of the previous ones though. I would have loved to see Moriarty's 55 and especially Johnny Zaro's 40 merc in person. If I would have known that my car didn't need to be finished to be in the show, I would have shown off my traditional style 46 business coupe.
The fleetline is a 51 Pontiac sedan. It is Dave Kinnaman's car. Here they are sectioning it Then added the fleetline roof.
It was soon cool to get to see some of the concept cars in person that I had been seeing in library books since elementary school. Certainly a highlight of the weekend.
So many cool cars, hard to pick one that just stands out. But must say this 1960? Pontiac(it's name escapes me) really does it for me. The interior is so Atomic, I just can't stand it. Also, car with the rear bumper, mounted on front and upside down, is truly interesting. Thanks Mark, for taking the time to share these with all us schmucks, stuck like Chuck, at home.
That, ladies and gentleman is all I have from the 2015 CCR , hope you enjoyed it. And if you have a traditional custom and want to attend, I suggest pre registering soon as there is a 200 car limit
