I was thrilled to see that the oriental buick was found recently. It won Isca points championship in 1961. I can't wait to see it restored!!
Wow! The Oriental had what was certainly one of the most amazing interiors, ever! Do you know if it will be part of the restoration? It would seem nearly impossible to duplicate.
It's nice to see some 30's & 40's cars, customs don't have to start at 49. There were a lot of nice customs built in the 50's with older models.
I am pretty sure the hand tooled leather will be part of the resto, at least that is what Jim (the current owner) told me. It will be difficult to do though, thats for sure
