I did a quick search and found some car couches but wanted to see what other car furniture has been made. I have seen couches, a van into a entertainment center. Or maybe some car desk, lamps.....whatever you got post some pictures!
don't have any pics yet but i'm working on a coffee table built from a flathead six and a piece of beveled glass pinstriped by jester.
Earl Schieb's desk Coffee table in my living room Living room TV stand, the drawer faces are all hinged to get to the equipment stored inside.
Here is the TP holder and towel rack I made from obvious parts. I also made the shower from and old GTE phone booth. BB
That phone booth is insane! Are you married, Bob? I know MY old lady would shit a brick if I even suggested such a thing. She'd say something like, "Who do you think you are, Superman?!"
say "YES!" rip off your shirt, and fly around the room making wooshing noises... she might let you get one then
Bob, I gotta agree with Gigantor, that phone booth is insane! But, I love it. While I've tried other things in a phone booth, I have never tried to shower in one. However, I did stay in a B & B in Rhinebeck that had a shower about the size of your phone booth. And for only $175 a night!!! Bob, you are the man.
No pictures, but in 10th grade shop class I made a set of bookends from Flathead pistons and rods mounted on oak blocks. Still have them 45 years later.
..here's a bed I made out of a late 40's International. Cab has working shifter, E-brake, shortened column, glovebox, all the guages read perfect, the odometer reads the kid's birthdate. His mother wasn't impressed when I said some day he's gonna put his girlfriend's head thru that back window ! Oh yeah, and it all had to fit in the window 'cause it couldn't go thru the house
...there was a post like this before and somebody posted a glass top table with an engine block ,rods & pistons...I'd like to see that again !
I was at Bob k's house this past weekend and it is like a time warp. All the cool neon car parts road signs the phone booth is just too cool though. Also in that bathroom he has a condom machine tampon machine and a towel dispenser!
