Custom bead rolling....lotsa pic's

    I would just like to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread. The talent here is awesome and it encouraged me to try something myself.
    Here is the first panel I have bead rolled.

    Scale-the panel is rough cut at just over 36" long by 8" fore to aft. Each square is 1 3/16".

    This panel was done on my manual, stiffened frame, HF bead roller.

    Wicked job for first time out. Actually... better than a can still manage! nicely done... How did you cross it up, skateboard wheel?

    Thanks guys.

    I used one of the shearing dies from the HF set and bought a piece of rubber hose that fit over the body of the die, than a tipping wheel on top.

    DaTinman-

    Yes it twisted pretty bad, but some tuck shrinking on the surrounding flange straightened that out.

    Where do ya'll buy your metal? A local yard?

    I've purchased plenty of pipe and tube from my local metal yard but have never bought any of metal like used in this thread. Oh, and I just bought a roller. :)
