that thing is down right sick. Are you sticking with those headers or have other plans? Keep updating on that...love it.

  2. I just hauled this home today, it was in this guys family since it was new in '29, fairly complete. Plan on a medium chop and channel with olds motor.

  4. Looks quite different from the photo's on page 3 of this thread... This is how it looked this morning...!

    But it's finnally moving along...!

  5. I took a breather from my project and used the time to remodel the shop a bit. I added new doors and squeezed some more space ou of my work area. I am going back at it now. I hope to have a flathead for it done by next summer. Uuntil then I will be running a sbf.

I am going with a new frame due to the passenger side rail being bent up.

    Hey Mike,
    Good to hear from you...

Working on a `30 Coupe myself, but I have no pix at work. Look for me to drive it to Roundup '08! Or shoot me a PM and I'll bore you with the build details...

    Thanks royalshifter!
I actually cheaped out and used chrome paint on the rims but with the stainless steel trim rings and chrome Model A lugnuts, I think they came out pretty well. I have a set of chrome grease caps for the front and stainless steel castle nuts for the rear. The tires are 16 x 550's on 4" rims in the front and 16 x 750's on 4 1/2" rims in the back.

I'm currently building a 2" chopped 31 coupe, and my almost 14 year old has my first coupe, a early 30 model. Somewhere in between is 2 more coupes that are in various stages of salvation. Lots of damage, rustout, and butchery to be saved from.

I have to say the only reason I have the Vicky is because of a freind that turned me onto it, abomber30 aka Drew,Andy:D . It was a great price and great little car and he could have made a few bucks on it, but pass it on to me. Thanks Andy at Suicide Axle Hot Rods

  17. Finally started cutting and welding on my frame. The plan is 30 RPU based modified with 2.3 Ford, 35 wire wheels, QC, 1/4 elliptic springs all around. Stay tuned for mockup pics on a separate thread.

Here is my 31 Ford with a TCI frame. I am going to change the tires and wheel combo and lower the body abit as well as change the headers also. I am toying with changing the rear 4 Bar but hate to cut a new frame. I do not like the way it hangs down so low. The 29
pickup is my sons and mine and the T is my driver.

Here's my project. 30 Model A Tudor, found in storage down in Oklahoma. An old guy owned it for years, it sat in a heated garage for 25 years after he passed away. He put Juice Brakes on it, 39 tail lights, and otherwise didn't touch a thing. No bondo, and not a hole in it. I'm putting a drop axle, intake and header, with some Firestone big and littles and some 40 ford wheels. Nothing else will be done, keeping old school and barn fresh. Enjoy...

MY '28 truck flathead, chopped 4", cab lengthened 4". The panel behind the door is mocked up with cardboard to check the layout of the rear side window before I hammer form the panel.
