Anyone know where I can get a Cruise-O-Matic(Out of a '63 Thunderbird) slip yoke? I think it's a 31 spline. I've looked, but not sure where to get one.
Okay,it might be a 30 spline. I'll have to recount the splines on the output shaft. Anyone know what aftermarket one's will fit if it's a 31 spline(I'm pretty sure it is)?
Google Ford Slip yokes. If that doesn't work for you, try these guys: http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/
Okay, this might be a stupid question, but what's the difference between a 30 on 31 spline slip yoke, and one that just says 31 spline?
31 spline yokes can be found in many Ford trucks from the 70s. A C6 has 31 splines and uses the same yoke. Some cruise-o-matics are 28 splines.
I've got a couple of extra's I'll ship one Tuesday with the 3 belt waterpump pulley. Measured all of the critical dimensions. 31 spline, ID= 1-5/16 OD= 1-11/16 Movin/on
Here's about what all the measurements should be: Length to center of u-joint... Dimension #1 = 6 inches Barrel Diameter... Dimension #2 = 1 11/16 inches Barrel Length... Dimension #3 = 4 1/4 inches U-joint cap diameter... Dimension #4 = 1 1/16 inches U-joint width... Dimension #5 = 3 5/8 inches Series... 1330 Spline count... 31
