I have the opportunity to get a '52 Crosley wagon. Would like to see what others have done with one of these. Thanks!
I just picked up this '48 wagon two weekends ago,...the gentleman had 8 other Crosley wagon's and sedan's in his back yard!
Can't find the pic...maybe it was in Good Guys most recent issue...guy set one up and it kinda looked like a pedal car and looked like you could stand on the back of it like the fire engine pedal cars...was actually kinda cool...
I like that sedan with the Buick Straight Eight! I saw this Hot Shot in Street Rodder . I think it's probably better to link it than C&P. Still, to give an idea, I think this flathead looks right at home under the hood.
Crosley Special racing late 50s.. Cool helmet.."Roll Bar..don't need no stinkin' roll bar..cause I gots my safety Stoggie fired.." Ah the good old days..
these were still rolling around when i was a kid...being from cincy, you could drive over to the factory..they made tv's, fridge's and radio's...i just bought a really nice crosley radio brass front cover plate off evil bay............ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230299703604&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&viewitem= would like to see a pic of the whole radio it is from though... a crosley would be on my list to play with a flat head plymouth 218 6 cylinder i got stashed.....
every show i saw this car at, there were always happy people around it. i think i have some interior pics at home. i know it was a CA car, anyone seen it around recently? **edit, just saw the above ebay reference** anyone know where it ended up?
I normally hate trikes, but WOW! That is fantastic! I can't find one thing I don't like about it, and that never happens.
Do you guys know how obscenely rare original Crosley HotShots are? There is a guy in marmouth ND, his dad ran a crosley Dealership, he has a all original SuperHotShot with like no miles on it, and on top of that an Original Factory Replacement SuperHotShot Motor laying in the original Crosley Crate for it.. i think they only made like 150ish total hotshots.
talked to guy at bowling green ....said on the chassis dyno it made something like 114 hp at the rear wheels.... out of 44 cubic inches... very shiny ride
