A good buddy and I are building a crosley drag car together to hopefully debut at the Meltdown drags racing. We plan on putting it up for sale when it is complete. It will have a 93 inch wheel base with the wheels confined inside the car besides the rear tires being a few inches outside of the quarters. It will have a decently built small block chevy that went 11.70 in a 3000 pound car along with a face plated Doug Nash 5 Speed. Rearend is a Ford 9 inch that has been narrowed and will have 35 spline strange axles along with a full spool with 4.56 gears. It will have all old chrome anglia front suspension with anglia 12 spoke magnesium wheels (real deal not that fake 10 spoke bolt on shit). Rears for now will be 15x10 steel wheels with 29x10 slicks. It will have a 8.50 certified cage in it also. So far worked on it for 3 hours and have front half of the frame tacked and the 9 inch rearend narrowed. Stay tuned for the complete build!!!!! TWO Topolino's in the shop! There's currently a Topo thread going on here. You guys like them small. Keep posting the build. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

I'm watching. I love these builds that most people would think are too crazy to work. Love the name too.

Sorry it has been a while but here are a few more pics of the build. Main part of the frame and 4 link setup are all tacked in place. Still have gussets and small other pieces to make. Slowly making progress and hope to have to have it rolling on the ground soon! IMG_4115.jpg IMG_4116.jpg IMG_4117.jpg IMG_4118.jpg IMG_4119.jpg

It may look like a pro street 90s build so far but I assure you it's not. Rear wheels will stick out of quarters. Went with 4 link even though we did not want to only to not have ladder bars going through the seats. Car is very small and some sacrifices were made. Thanks for looking.

Thanks! Crosley is a unique car for sure but is super tiny and take some thinking of how it needs to be done so there's enough room.

Well we made some coil spring mounts tonight but just need to make some gussets for them and they will be done! hope to start working on the front end next week. Mike Wagner from Cornfield Customs helps us out with brackets being made on his plasma table and tig welding! Be sure to check him out! IMG_4143.jpg IMG_4144.jpg IMG_4145.jpg

I'd be leery about running those cast Anglia spindles. I have the same front suspension under my '48 Austin that I'd like to use under a 331 hemi. I haven't decided what I'm going to use for spindles yet.

Well not whole lot more accomplished but a little. Got the coil spring brackets all tacked in place where they need to be. Also moved the front frame rails inward a few inches on each side then put the front spreader bar in. Next we will make the front spring mount and get the front suspension on! Also here are the 12 spokes we are running for the front. IMG_4153.jpg IMG_4154.jpg IMG_4155.jpg IMG_4156.jpg IMG_4152.jpg
