  1. Funny,

But what kind of thought goes into deciding to go to school for 10 years to work on buttholes for a living?

a customer of mine has "no balls ...no glory"

my old bbc anglia had " lifes too short to drive a wimpy car" and the plate said "takes 2"

another customer had a 440 6pak road runner ....it said "better to burn out , then to fade away"

my old pretty penny anglia says .... "its all about time & money"

real race cars have 5 doors ....old drag malibu wagon

real race cars have no doors.... a buddy's dragster

a couple of my hot rods and a buddys had .... "exhaust fumes kill !"

We had a signature eyeball painting made by our pinstriper with very red eyes as he was hangover when he painted our Pro stock Olds. Also had "Gone chasin Daihatsu dealers, back in 7 seconds" on our comp altered back in the eighties. On another comp altered we had famous pornstars as crew members. Great thread

I think on the back of my '40 Plymouth gasser I'll put "You got passed by junkyard parts" or "Nose High, Foot Down...and Gone."

I've got pictures of a couple, I'll try to find them later.

On the back of a chopped, big tired, blown bigblock 53 Chevy pickup.
"Unique is what we seek, Bizarre is what we are"

On the back of a blown bigblock 40 Willys.
"Real Hot Rods ride on trailers, get over it crybabies."

my theme for y 49 chevy is a funeral home coupe. on the doors it will say "tinys used casket salvage, 1-800-dead-box" and on the decklid will be "you bury em we carry em"

A local ledgend back in the 60's was Tom Tarrant. He and his wife at the time used to match race two blown early vettes.

He later graduated to an A/S 426 wedge Plymouth and had a 289 cobra that was an AHRA record holder.

Toms family owned Tarrant Masonry Contractors. The Plymouth, in huge letters on the sides was the MORTAR FORKER II. I always thought that was a great name.

After rolling my coupe, the body was in primer for a while. The trunklid had "Hog Mountain mental health activity vehicle". On the roof, "This side up". PA announcers loved it.

A buddy in high school had a Buick GS drag car that said, "The bullshit stops when the green flag drops!" on the decklid.

Not a cool race car, but my parts chaser pickup has a little logo I did of a clock w/wrench hands on the doors that says "Free Time Auto & Cycle Salvage - You Break 'Em, We Take 'Em".

Dave, I had "this side up" with a big arrow on the dash in a dirt car one season. Either i wasn't paying attention, or it just didn't help to remind me. lol

  30. I think this was painted on the back edge of the wing on one of Richard Tharp's Top Fuel cars some years ago;

    "A Saint I Ain't...A Star I Are!"
