crate motors

I've heard people moaning about mexican built sbc crate motors .Are these motors the ones summit &jegs sales.Or can chev dealers be mexican also.how can you tell the difference. JEG's are even sold under the same gm part numbers

 

i got a chevy zz -4 crate motor AND IT IS GREAT!!!! bought it from "karl chevrolet " ankeny ia . and was priced right ! and dealer gave me a primer pump assembly w.it !! bought a zz502 gm crate motor also ,priced the cheapest around !! dont think either was made in mexico ,no tacos or burrito drippings in crate ????

 

Installed one straight from the GM dealer into a Chevy Truck at my old work ....

Block & Heads had HECHO IN MEXICO cast right in the Iron.
