Hey guys, this is t rod's son posting to inform you that he has been in a terrible crash. He is going to be okay.
He was drag racing in Tucson for the Zip tie drags. Very early in the event, he ran into a wall and was knocked unconscious. The car burst into flames and may or may not be salvageable. Dad is in a controlled coma healing from burns on 60% of his body. I'll try my best to keep you guys updated.

  4. Your dad is in my prayers.

At this point the car is unimportant,it's your dad that is in our thoughts.HRP

  6. Hope your father recovers well. I burned myself 2 years ago for maybe 2% of my body (one leg) and i can tell you recovery is no fun and it sometimes did hurt like hell. They transplanted skin from my upper leg (which also hurts). Now 2 years later the pain is completely gone and i'm more carefull when i am welding:).

Sorry to hear about your dad...hoping for a quick recovery!!! My dad was burned a few years ago when his propane tank blew up, around 40%. He has since healed and is doing well. Hope this helps relieve some of the anxiety.

Dad is in good hands. He's in the best burn unit in the country and he has an insanely high survivability rate. Thank you all for your thoughts. It'll hurt like hell, but he'll live
