running a 290 hp sbc crate motor in my f-1 ... using early 60s corvette valve covers and an offy intake w/ oil filler neck. motor doesnt have a down draft tube .. whats the cleanest most period correct way to relieve case pressure without using different valve covers????

You can drill a hole in the intake and put the PCV valve there.. I've done it on about 6 stock sbc intakes with good results.....

Use a vented oil cap for the filler tube....
