Crane cam info needed...help!

    i have an old crane cam CCH-290 nc ...on the other end, AJ9776 and 919S...anyone have an old crane catalog or know what this cam is from....here is a pic as it has a keyed snout off the front of the cam....johnnyB

    You might try cranecams.com. I tried a search on your numbers but didn't find any results. However they have a tech number listed that you could call. CCH-290 should be the grind number.

    Here you go from 1984 Crane catalog: Cam part# 344631 Commander CCH-290 Rough idle,Performance Usage.Good Upper RPM H.P. 3500-7000 RPM, Increased compression advised, [email protected] 242IN 242ex, Dur adv.290, lobe center 114,lift intake & exhaust .561 This is the most radical of the hydraulic grinds for F.E. Fords.:cool:
