The really cool part of all this is that his dad was not only a restorer, he was a hot rodder too. The '32 B engine in the AA truck has a Cyclone aluminum head, a Cragar finned side cover, a Stromberg 97 carb, a Mallory dual point dizzy, and an unknown intake manifold. I told the son I would be selling all of this stuff to hot rodders and he thought his dad would approve...how cool is that?

Yes, then look on the other side, it has twin side mounts, I've never seen that on a AA.

Jimbo I know where there is a garage in Tampa that is loaded full of Model A's including a cherry sportsroof and also has a couple of Jag 120's in it as well as some other odd european cars ( a Panhard ) . The pisser is the house is on my moms street and I am going to have to wait till he kicks the bucket to get my hands on any of it . He wont seel as he thinks some young punk ( like us ) :D would get ahold of them and cut them up and :eek:Hot Rod em . His whole back yard is sheds full of bodies ,frames , motors you name it .

Nice! I've stumbled upon a few stashes like that although I didn't have the money to offer and the folks who owned the stuff weren't in the mood to sell.

I am happy for you, as well as proud that you know how to spell and use "mother lode" correctly.

The son was very cool and laid back...that's him in the overalls next to the truck. He has a good business and doesn't need the money. He just wanted everything gone for one price....it was a fun day.
