The really cool part of all this is that his dad was not only a restorer, he was a hot rodder too. The '32 B engine in the AA truck has a Cyclone aluminum head, a Cragar finned side cover, a Stromberg 97 carb, a Mallory dual point dizzy, and an unknown intake manifold. I told the son I would be selling all of this stuff to hot rodders and he thought his dad would approve...how cool is that?

Jimbo I know where there is a garage in Tampa that is loaded full of Model A's including a cherry sportsroof and also has a couple of Jag 120's in it as well as some other odd european cars ( a Panhard ) . The pisser is the house is on my moms street and I am going to have to wait till he kicks the bucket to get my hands on any of it . He wont seel as he thinks some young punk ( like us ) would get ahold of them and cut them up and Hot Rod em . His whole back yard is sheds full of bodies ,frames , motors you name it .

The son was very cool and laid back...that's him in the overalls next to the truck. He has a good business and doesn't need the money. He just wanted everything gone for one price....it was a fun day.
